How it works:
- Write a JQL query for the issues you care about — critical bugs, unassigned tickets, overdue items, anything.
- Choose when to send it: pick one or several send windows a day, and which days of the week.
- Pick your time zone. Schedules run in your local time, not a server clock.
- Get a clean, color-coded Adaptive Card in Teams, with priority indicators, assignee, status, and a direct link back to Jira.

Security: Permission validation before Jira data actions
Added explicit permission checks prior to every user-triggered action that reads or transmits Jira issue data. This applies to three actions: saving a digest configuration, testing a JQL query, and sending a manual test digest to Microsoft Teams.
Each of these actions now verifies that the requesting user has permission to browse the relevant Jira issues before the app proceeds with the underlying request. If the check fails, the action is rejected and the user receives a localized error message.
This change does not alter the app's scopes, egress domains, or scheduled trigger behavior. The hourly scheduled digest continues to operate as before, since it runs on JQL filters already validated against the configuring admin's permissions at save time. No action is required from existing installations — behavior is unchanged for users with standard project access.
