Key highlights of the appEdit Mermaid diagrams by clicking or in code, always in sync. No syntax needed, perfect for fixing AI-generated diagrams

Edit by clicking, code stays in sync
Add a box, drag an arrow, double-click to rename. The Mermaid code updates by itself, and typing code updates the drawing. No Mermaid knowledge needed.
Big diagrams stay readable: full screen + zoom
Open any diagram full screen. Fit to screen, scroll to zoom, drag to pan.
No account, nothing leaves Confluence
Diagrams are stored as code in your page. No sign-up and no outside servers: the app makes no external calls.
More details
Visual Mermaid renders diagrams with mermaid.js (MIT licence), bundled into the app and run in your browser. The app makes no external network requests, stores nothing outside your Confluence instance, and has no account of its own — for authors or for readers. Diagram source lives in the macro’s own configuration inside the page, so it versions, copies and exports with the page. Version information
Version 2.5.0•for Confluence Cloud
- Release date
- Sep 16th 2026
- Summary
- Mermaid diagrams inline in your page, editable on the canvas or as source
- Details
First public release. Mermaid diagrams that live inside your Confluence page: rendered as SVG at their natural size, scaled down to fit the column, never blown up. Edit on the canvas or in the source and both stay in sync — a canvas edit rewrites only the line it touches, so comments, spacing and ordering survive. Full-screen view with zoom and pan. One-click conversion of existing Mermaid code blocks already on a page. Runs entirely on Atlassian: no external network requests, no vendor server, and no account for authors or readers.
