A recycle bin for deleted issues

Every deleted issue lands in the Trash Can, with who deleted it and when. Protect all projects or only some, and search by project, key, summary and date.

Read it before you restore it

Open any deleted issue to read its summary, description, comments, reporter and assignee as they were when it was last saved.

One-click restore with comments

Restore creates the issue again with its type, priority, labels, components, versions, due date, reporter and assignee, and adds back the comments with their original author and date.

Deleted an issue by mistake? Jira has no recycle bin. Trash Can adds one.

Keeps a copy of each issue in all projects or only the ones you choose, updated when the issue is created, edited or commented.
When an issue is deleted, singly or in bulk, it appears in the Trash Can with who deleted it and when.
Search the Trash Can by project, issue key or summary, and deletion date.
Open a deleted issue to read its summary, description, comments, reporter and assignee.
Restore it: a new issue is created with the saved fields, and the comments are added back with their original author and date.
Set the retention period; old copies are purged automatically every day. Delete a copy forever at any time.

Attachments and the change history are not kept, and the restored issue gets a new key. Only issues deleted after installing the app can be restored.

Runs on Atlassian: copies are stored in Atlassian's cloud.
