Tick off work without leaving the issue

Add items by typing, or paste several lines to add many. Use headings, required items, numbering, links, bold and code. Drag to reorder. Other people’s changes show up within seconds.

Templates that add themselves to new issues

Admins write templates with a live preview and auto-apply them by issue type and project. It works however the issue is created: Create button, automation or API. Anyone who can edit an issue can add one too.

Block transitions until required items are done

Add the “Checklist is complete” validator to any workflow transition. Find issues with JQL, e.g. checklistRequiredOpen > 0. Company-managed projects can show the Checklist progress field (3/5) in the backlog.

Why Native Checklists?

Stored on the issue. Each checklist is a Jira issue property, so it moves with the issue and is included in Jira backups and site migrations. It is never held on our servers.
Runs on Atlassian. Built on Forge, with no external servers and no data egress.
No item limit by plan. Every plan gets the same features, up to 200 items per issue.

Details: Progress field fixes, an updated setup guide and security updates.
The Checklist progress field now corrects itself when you open the checklist, if the checklist was changed outside the app (for example by a script).
Setup guide: the progress field shows on the issue, in the backlog (company-managed projects: Board settings, Backlog layout) and in JQL. Jira’s new board view doesn’t show app fields on cards.
Security: dependency updates. npm audit reports no known vulnerabilities.
