Business Sign-off & Approval helps Jira Cloud teams add approvals without workflow redesign. Keep existing workflows, avoid approval-only statuses, and manage approvals without learning a second admin system.

Use it for Change Advisory Board (CAB) review, release readiness, change control, design approval, or everyday team sign-off. Add approvers, notify reviewers, see pending/approved/returned decisions, and request re-review when work changes.

When a phase gate needs enforcement, Business Sign-off can prevent an issue from moving forward until required approvals are complete. It can also add approvers, notify reviewers, or reset decisions as the issue moves through Jira. Admins get Jira workflow conditions, validators, and post-functions.

Approval history captures users, timestamps, comments, notifications, and state changes, with CSV export and an admin audit log for config changes. Built on Atlassian Forge.
