Key highlights of the appSort child pages A to Z or by date in the Confluence page tree, and move many pages at once to another parent or space

hero

Sort child pages in one step

Sort A to Z, Z to A, newest, oldest or recently updated, and include every level below if you want. Numbers in titles sort as numbers, so 2 comes before 10.

Drag many pages into place at once

Drag across pages to select a group, then drag it to a new spot or drop it into another page. Nothing changes until you save, and the Unsaved changes panel lists every move first.

Move pages to another parent or space

Choose any space and page with Move to…, and child pages go with their parent. If a title is already used there, rename and move, just like Confluence’s own Move.

More details

Confluence adds new child pages to the end of the list, and its page tree moves one page per drag. Putting a long list in order means dragging every page by hand.

Page Order for Confluence sorts the child pages of any page, folder or space in one step: A to Z, Z to A, newest, oldest or recently updated. Numbers in titles sort as numbers, so 2 comes before 10. You can sort only the pages you select, or every level below.

Open it with Organize Child Pages in any page’s ••• menu, or from Apps in the space sidebar. Select many pages by dragging across them, reorder them, drop them into another page, or move them to another space. Every change is listed before you save.

The app follows Confluence’s own permissions and limits, so people can only move pages they could already move. It stores no data and runs entirely on Atlassian.
