Group Chat Support

TelegramBridge now supports group chats in addition to private chats. When you add the bot to a Telegram group, all messages from group members will be forwarded to Jira.

Key highlights:

  • Messages from group chats automatically include the group name in the issue summary (e.g., [Group Name] Telegram message from John Doe)
  • Issue description includes a new "Group Name" field for easy identification
  • All message types are supported: text, photos, documents, videos, voice messages, video notes, stickers, contacts, and locations
  • When the bot is removed from a group, a comment is automatically added to the associated Jira issue notifying the team

Issue Creation Notification Setting

A new configuration option has been added to control whether users receive a Telegram notification when a new Jira issue is created.
