Seal a file and the seal defends itself
Seal an attachment or a page section and Sentinel Vault stands guard: an overwrite is restored to the sealed version, a trashed file comes back, and a tampered section is reverted from its snapshot.
Classify every page, Public to Restricted
Turn classification on and every page shows its level under the title and in the page banner. Set space defaults, override per page, and lowering a level asks for a reason that lands in the activity log.
Seal files on Jira issues too
Once a site admin connects Jira, anyone who can edit an issue can seal its files, up to 25 MB. If someone other than the owner deletes one while the seal holds, Sentinel Vault puts its copy back.

- Seal an attachment: someone else’s overwrite or trash is undone while the seal holds.
- Seal a page section: tampering is reverted from a snapshot; the rest of the page stays editable.
- Edit requests: approve, deny or revoke edit access.
- Workflow: Draft to Approved with multi-approver sign-off; an unapproved edit demotes or reverts an Approved page.
- Classification: Public to Restricted (or your own levels), space defaults, a reason to lower a level.
- Jira, once a site admin connects it: seal an issue’s files (to 25 MB). A sealed file someone other than the owner deletes is put back while the seal holds; if the issue is deleted, the owner can download a copy from My work in Confluence for 30 days.
- Optional 6-digit authenticator code on seal actions and approvals.
