Key highlights of the appSecure email notifications from Bitbucket with S/MIME or PGP encryption

Encrypt all email from Bitbucket

It's at your choice which encryption you prefer - S/MIME or PGP. You can even use both encryption types at the same time. Optionally, signatures can be added to all outgoing emails to verify their origin.

Take advantage of central key management

S/MIME certificates and PGP keys can be centrally managed for all users. You are free to use the Bitbucket user directory, a key server, a directory LDAP, or a local keystore file, or any combination of these.

Allow users to manage their certificates or keys

Optionally, in addition to the central key management, you can allow Bitbucket users to upload their S/MIME certificates or PGP keys, giving you the greatest flexibility possible.

More details

Have you ever felt uneasy about the fact that Bitbucket sends out plain text notification emails with confidential information about your source codes and your project?

This app automatically encrypts all notification emails from Bitbucket to protect your valuable source code and company knowledge. It provides both, S/MIME and PGP encryption at your choice, for all email notifications, preventing unwanted disclosure of your confidential material.

Did you know?

Encrypted emails do not only protect you from unwanted disclosure while in-transit. Providing real end-to-end encryption, it also makes sure that the message content can only be read by authorized persons or apps while stored on the mail server or on the client computer or any other place like backup devices.

S/Notify Email Encryption is available for Jira and Confluence, too!
