After installing the Format Painter plugin, a special "brush" icon will be displayed on the Confluence page's toolbar, allowing you to copy formatting quickly! NOTE: Only works in Confluence page view mode.

💡 The Format Painter for Confluence allows you to copy all the formatting from one text section and apply it to another.
This is a small but very necessary add-on for text editing.
For example, if you have written text in Confluence, and have it formatted using a specific font type, color, or font size you could copy that formatting to another section of the document by using the Format Painter tool.
👍 Copying and Pasting work for format types:
- color scheme
- font type, size, and color
- font decoration styles
- alignment.
📌 How to Use:
- Click the Format Painter icon on the Confluence toolbar in page view mode to open the macro modal window with page content.
- Select the text that has the formatting you want to copy.
- Click once on the "brush" icon at the top of the modal window.
- Select the text you want to apply the formatting to — the new formatting will be applied automatically!
⚠️ The plugin for Confluence Cloud only works in page view mode. Macros and layouts are not supported.
